Funeral services for Juanita Black Thadison, of Brookhaven, are11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, at Emmanuel Temple Church inBrookhaven, with burial in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.Elder Lawrence Smith will officiate. Williams Mortuary is in chargeof arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Thadison, 63, died Sept. 12, 2010, at Field Memorial CommunityHospital in Centreville. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 23,1947 to Eulis Black Sr. and Louise Jackson Black.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Emmanuel Temple Church.She attended Alexander High School in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son, Willie EarlBrown; her sisters, Flora Mae Smith, Eula Mae Faire, Helen Barze,Marynell Maxwell, Marie Black, Essie Black, Dessa Ree Shephard; andher brothers, George Black and Billy Ray Black.

Survivors are her husband, James Earl Thadison, of Brookhaven; hersons, Marshall (Golendene) Graham, James (Lisa) Williams, Larry(Faye) Barze and Patrick (Joyce) Graham, all of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Sopiah Brown, and Joyce (Kenny) Smith, of Brookhaven,and Debra Ann (Micheal) Wade and Lisa (Tommy) Jones, of Hazlehurst;her brothers, Eulis (Mardessie) Black Jr., of Brookhaven, andWarren (Jo Ann) Black, of Elkhart, Ind.; her stepbrother, RobertRobertson, of Brookhaven; her mother-in-law, Margaret ThadisonHarris, of Brookhaven; her 31 grandchildren and eightgreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
