Funeral services for Virgie Mae “Shug” Kelly Clark, of BogueChitto, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Siloam MissionaryBaptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in the church cemetery.Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 1 until 7 p.m., with family present from6 until 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Clark, 84, died Sept. 21, 2010, at the University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born in LincolnCounty on Sept. 10, 1926, to Versie Kelly Sr. and Addie FairmanKelly.

She was a homemaker. She attended Progress Schools and was a memberof Siloam M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George ClarkSr.; her daughter, Helen Jones; her grandson, Derrick Clark; andher brothers, R.C. Kelly, Ira Kelly, Tyree Kelly, Versie Kelly Jr.and Robert Lee Kelly.

Survivors are her sons, John Clark, George Clark Jr., and JerryClark, all of Brookhaven; her daughters, Emma Oliver and Lee EuniceLyons, both of Brookhaven; her brothers, Charles Kelly, ofBrookhaven, and J.C. Kelly and wife, Alice, of Springfield, Mass.;her sisters, Geraldine Kelly, of Springfield, and Delores Johnsonand Doris Kelly, both of Brookhaven; and other relatives andfriends.
