Funeral services for Hellon Carpenter, 91, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the serviceat the funeral home.

She died Nov. 20, 2010, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital inJackson. She was born in Mississippi on Dec. 31, 1918.

She was a graduate of Loyd Star School, and was a retiredbookkeeper. She was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and AlphaCarpenter.

Survivors are her special cousins, Sherry and Steve Lewis, Jimmyand Angela Smith, Marilyn and Mickey Wilson, and Kathy and DavidHamilton; and special friends, Patty and Larry Dalgleish, and PeggyFoster.
