Funeral services for Thomas Cade Elkins Jr. will be held at alater date.

Mr. Elkins, 75, died April 9, 2011, at his residence. He was bornin Louisiana on April 12, 1935, to Thomas Cade Elkins Jr. and EulaSmith Elkins.

He was employed in the oilfield and a member of Central BaptistChurch. He was also a Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and asister.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Marie Norton Elkins; his son,Willie Cade Elkins; his daughter, Mona Lisa Bland; his sisters,Lois Lightsey, Betty Carter and Shirley McClentack; his twograndchildren, Mckina Marie Holloway and Lawson Cade Elkins; andhis two great-grandchildren, Slade Hayes Holloway and TristenHolloway.
