Funeral services for Dorothy Stephens Miller, of Brookhaven,were 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, at Riverwood Family FuneralService Chapel, with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller, 89, died April 16, 2011, at her residence. She wasborn in Louisiana on December 11, 1921, to James and Mary MadisonStephens.

She was a homemaker and businesswoman with Miller Chemical Companyin Brookhaven. She was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church. Shewas a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She wasa charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliaryin Brookhaven, and co-founder and officer of Miller ChemicalCompany from 1963 to 2000 with her husband Howard Miller.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Howard A.Miller; and her brother, Ted O. Stephens.

Survivors are her son, Jimmy H. Miller of Brookhaven; her daughter,Cynthia Miller of Jackson, and a step-daughter, Mrs. A.M. Graham(and family); her nephews Mark O. Stephens and Timothy H. Stephens;and her niece, Melissa Stephens Mayberry.
