Funeral services for Tywana Lynn DickeySmith, of Brookhaven, were 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, at PleasantGrove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery.Brookhaven Funeral Home on North Jackson Street was in charge ofarrangements.

    Mrs. Smith, 60, died Oct. 13, 2011, at her home. She was born inBrookhaven on Dec. 14, 1950, to Venton Dickey and Nell CaseDickey.

    She was housewife and homemaker and a member of Pleasant GroveBaptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, KerryDickey.

    Survivors are her husband, Ted L. Smith; son, Trent L. Smith andwife, Kyla; daughter, Trena Smith; sister, Charlotte Laird; andfour grandchildren, Ashtin Castillo, Tiler Castillo, KayleiCastillo and Logan Lane Smith, all of Brookhaven.

    Pallbearers were Eric Smith, Lance Griffin, Ronald Rushing, GrantPrestridge, Chad Laird and Hugh Laird.
