Funeral services for Lois T, Smith, ofBogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Mt., Olive Church of ChristCemetery.

    Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Ms. Smith, 83, died Feb. 14, 2012, at Regency Hospital in Jackson.She was born in Mississippi on Oct. 22, 1928, to Norris FredrickThompson and Pearl Delaughter Thompson.

    She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Church of Christ.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, David E. Smith;son, Kenneth David Smith; great-grandson Cooper Frazier; and threebrothers and one sister.

    Survivors are her sons Rick Smith and fiancée Chirsty Wallace,Clifton Smith and wife Donna; daughters Carolyn Hux and husbandHerbert, Shirley Thompson and husband Wayne, Elaine Williams andhusband Ellis, Bobbie Kyzar and husband Keith; brother NorrisThompson and wife Vonice; sister-in-law Jean Thompson;daughter-in-law Linda Smith; 17 grandchildren; 32great-grandchildren with five more on the way; and numerous nieces,nephews and other relatives.
