Funeral services for Catherine T. George, of Brookhaven, are noon on Saturday, April 28, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary will be at 6 p.m.

     Miss. George, 89, died April 25, 2012, at her home. She was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 4, 1922, to A. and Latifie Ann Romanus George.

     She was the secretary for Texas Gas Transmission Co. for 40 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother and sisters, Amien T. George, Lily Marie Martinson, Julia Ilsley and Adeline G. Attaya.

     Survivors are her brother, Willie A. George, of Brookhaven; sister, Frieda Hutson, of Brookhaven; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved and cared for.
