Funeral services for Thomas Junior Beavers, of McComb, are 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2, at Jones Family Funeral Services, with burial in Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

     Mr. Beavers, 74, passed away Aug. 30, 2012, at his home. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 18, 1937, to Felix Jackson and Annie J. White Beavers.

     He worked for many years as a Seismograph Driller for Petty-Ray Geosource out of Houston. He loved to fish and deer hunt. Mr. Beavers was of the Baptist faith.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Thomas Wayne Beavers; two brothers, Monroe Beavers and Bobby Wayne Beavers; and one sister, Betty Sue Gill.

     Survivors are his daughters, Sheila Rae Babb, Brenda Ann Brown and Connie Lynn Beavers; sisters, Mary Francis Johnson, Dorothy Martin, Joyce Ann Ruby, Johnny Faye Boyles and Elaine Richardson; brother, Lonnie Ray Beavers; four grandchildren, Jason Dwight Brown, Shelly DeAnn Hamback, James Dwayne Brown and Felicia Lynn Noll; seven great-grandchildren, Abbigail Marie Brown, Brooklyn Payton Brown, Edwin Christopher Noll, William Zachary Noll, Jase Dillon Brown, Hayden DeAnna Hamback and Hunter Lane Brown.

     Pallbearers will be Radon “Donnie” Brister, Billy “BJ” Moore, Scotty Boyles, Chris Boyles, Shawn Young and James Hodges. Honorary pallbearers are Lenis “Quart” Cornell, Rick Hamback, Jason Dwight Brown and James Dwayne Brown.
