Funeral services for James Stacey Smith, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Smith, 43, died Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He was born on Dec. 7, 1968.

     He was a parts salesman at Puckett Machinery-DM in Fernwood and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a wonderful, loving husband, father, son and brother. He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing camping, cooking and riding horses. He deeply loved God, his family, friends and community. Mr. Smith was a very giving person and was happiest when he was helping others.

     Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Jaudon and Kathyrn Smith and L.E. Smith; and uncles, Billy Joe Smith and Hoyte Lambert.

     Survivors are his wife, Sandra Kimble Smith; parents, James “Jimmy” and Glenda Smith Smith; daughters, Hannah Smith, Hollie Smith and Heidi Smith, all of Brookhaven; brother, Jeff Smith and Melissa Morgan, of Brookhaven; grandmother, Cora Mary Smith, of Brookhaven; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Marge Kimble, of Brookhaven; sisters-in-law, Elaine Boyd and husband, Danny, of Brookhaven, Kathy Hitchner and husband, David, of Baton Rouge, La., and Karen Kimble, of Brookhaven; aunts, Paula McGowen and husband, Keith, Mary Alice Williams, Agnes Allgood and husband, Robert, Beatrice Lambert and Montese Smith, all of Brookhaven; uncles, Sherman Smith and wife, Linda, of Lubbock, Texas, and Dean Smith and wife, Joy, of Brookhaven; and special cousins, four nieces, three nephews and other loving family members and friends.
