Funeral services for Martha Carolyn Haley, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, at Heucks Retreat Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Haley, 82, died Nov. 20, 2012, at King’s Daughter Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 21, 1930, to C.P. and Mattie Kennedy Wells.

     She was retired from Brookhaven Public Schools as secretary to the Superintendent. She was a member of Heucks Retreat Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Joel Kenlock Haley; and mother and father-in-law, Harlan and Bertile Haley.

     Survivors are her son, Gordan Haley and wife, Chris; daughter, Marjo Westmorland and husband, Lonis, of Shivers; brother, Carl Wells Jr. and wife, Eleanor, of Alabama; five grandchildren, Betsy Haley, Charles Kenlock Westmorland, Sydney Haley, Taylor Westmorland and Carcy Haley; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Lee and Kristy Waltman; other family members, Lynn Holt, Steve Wells, Jewayne Ritchie, Robin Ritchie and Michelle Ritchie Douglas; and sister-in-law, Pina Haley Ritchie.
