Perline Case

Funeral services for Perline Case of Brookhaven are 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Case, 89, died July 3, 2013 at Golden Living Center-Brook Manor. She was born in Mississippi on Feb. 24, 1924 to Joe Wilson and Symantha Smith Wilson.
She was a supervisor at Potter Company and also served as a deputy sheriff. Mrs. Case was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Golden Oldies.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Grady B. Case; sons, Grady Lenward Case and Jesse Layton “Coonie” Case; great-grandson, Charlie Hall; great-great-grandson, Jared Lyn Case; two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors are her son, Robert Carroll “Nubby” Case and wife, Cynthia; daughter, Jerelene “Judy” Martin and husband, Robert; nine grandchildren, Robin Case and husband, Dwain, Bob Martin and wife, Wanda, Reggie Martin and wife, Sheila, Becky Bowman and husband, Tony, Grady Case, Joe Case, David Case and wife, Jennifer, Justin Jackson and wife, Heather, and Jonathan Espy and wife, Chrissy; 15 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
