Funeral services for Sharon “Shan” Janice McCullough of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at Big Springs Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. McCullough, 57, died July 8, 2013 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing and spoiling her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Margie Cantrell.

Survivors are her husband, G. W. McCullough of Brookhaven; daughter, Felicia Hemphill and husband, Ricky, of Brookhaven; sons, G. J. McCullough and wife, Kerri, of Brookhaven and Byron McCullough and wife, Kim, of Brookhaven; sisters, Joyce Thomas and husband, Charles, Sandy Cook and late husband, Rickey, and Carolyn Laird and husband, Dwaine; brother, Kenny Cantrell and wife, Kayla; grandchildren, Sabian Jones, Austin Hemphill, Steven Allred, Katlyn Hemphill, Jackson Leggett, Christopher McCullough and Georgia McCullough; many nieces, nephews and a special nephew, Gage Cook, and a special niece, Breann Rutledge; Josh Rutledge, who was like a son to her; her special friend, Francis Watson; and her church family at Big Springs.
