A house at 69 Arm Cemetery Road in Lawrence County was gutted by fire early Saturday morning.

The Lawrence County Fire Department received the call at 4:35 a.m. The report said the house appeared to be mostly gutted by the fire. Firefighters returned to the station at 7:12 a.m.

No one was at home at the time of the fire. The blaze is under investigation, and as of Saturday afternoon, no cause had been determined.
