Services for Julius Talmadge Jordan of Bogue Chitto are 3 p.m.,Thursday, Feb. 26, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inAdams Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Jordan, 77, died Feb. 24, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 4,1927, to Albert Jordan and Rubie Jordan.

He was retired as a school teacher from Franklin ChristianAcademy. He also worked at Packard Electric Company in Brookhaven.He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of theChurch of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Albert M.Jordan; two sisters; and a brother.

Survivors are his daughters, Elizabeth “Sherite” Hall of LongBeach, Sally Teresia Maddox of Houston, Texas, and Rebecca LynnSmith of Wesson; his sisters, Gladys Coward of Zachary, La., IolaCoward of McCall Creek, Opal Futch of Smithdale, and JeannetteBailey of Bogue Chitto; his brothers, Felton Jordan and RodneyJordan, both of Smithdale, Moody Jordan of Pelahatchie, and JoeJordan of Brandon; eight grandchildren; and fivegreat-grandchildren.
