James Wade ‘Pee Wee’ Daniels Jr.

Services for James Wade “Pee Wee” Daniels Jr., of Brookhaven,are 7 p.m. Friday, June 3 at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burialin Mt. Olive M.B. Church Cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Daniels, 53, died May 27, 2005, in Brookhaven. He was bornin Brookhaven on April 4, 1952, to James Wade Daniels Sr. andLucille Jackson Daniels.

He attended Franklin County and Brookhaven Public schools. Heworked at various jobs including brick mason and at HomeliteTextron.

Preceding him in death were his mother; his sister, SandraDaniels Smith; and his brother, Albert Daniels.

Survivors are his father; his two sons, Brad C. Daniels, ofTampa, Fla., and James M. Daniels, of Brookhaven; his twodaughters, Margaret R. Daniels, of Brookhaven, and LaTreshaDaniels, of Springfield, Mass.; his three brothers, George DanielsSr. and his wife, Rachel, of Brookhaven, Johnny Daniels and hiswife, Susie, of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Jackie Daniels and hiswife, Vera, of Springfield; his four sisters, Mary Louise Dixon andher husband, Raymond, of Brookhaven, Patricia Richardson and herhusband, James, of Brookhaven, and Katie Lewis and PauletteDaniels, both of Springfield; nine grandchildren; and a host ofnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Charles Dennis Foster

Services for Charles Dennis Foster, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m.Friday, June 3 at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Foster, 44, died May 31, 2005, at his residence. He was bornin Brookhaven on Nov. 14, 1960, to Charles Braxton Foster and BettyJean Anding Foster.

He was employed with Homeseeker Transportation. He was a memberof Wellman Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and hisgrandparents.

Survivors are his sister, Debbie Vanhoose, of Brookhaven; hisbrothers, Bo Foster and John Foster, both of Brookhaven; one nieceand a host of nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be madeto a special fund set up in Mr. Foster’s name at State Bank andTrust Company, which can be mailed to 147 S. Railroad Ave.,Brookhaven MS 39601 or dropped off at any State Bank branch.

Jerry D. Fuller

Graveside services for Jerry D. Fuller, of Monticello, were 10a.m. today, June 2 at Wanilla Baptist Church Cemetery. WilsonFuneral Home in Monticello was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Fuller, 45, died May 30, 2005, at his residence. He was bornin Topeka, Miss., on March 14, 1960, to J.D. Fuller and Hazel F.Hilburn Daughdrill.

He was disabled. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his sisters, Lousetta Case, of Monticello, MaryNell Fuller, of Mississippi, Linda Sue Fuller, of Mendenhall, andLinda Gail Thompson and Louise Fuller, both of Mississippi; hisbrothers, Billy Ray Fuller, of Monticello, Rayford Fuller, ofMendenhall, Stevie Joe Fuller, of Whitfield, Edward Fuller, ofMonticello, and Roger Fuller, of Sontag.

Gertrude Johnson Greer

Gertrude Johnson Greer has died of a stroke at the age of 83 inMission Viejo, Calif.

She was born in King of Prussia, Penn., on Sept. 28, 1921, toDorothy Titus Johnson and Herman Candler Johnson.

In 1945 she was married in Orlando, Fla., to Randall VaughnGreer, of Ruth, Miss. They served in ministry together in SouthernBaptist Churches until his death in 2003. Their ministry spannedthe states of Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina and SouthCarolina. Mrs. Greer was very active in the Women’s MissionaryUnion, involved in church music, a Sunday school teacher, leaderand speaker for many mission programs.

Mrs. Greer is survived by a daughter, Mrs. David (Tommye)Swenson, of Newport Beach, Calif.; and three grandchildren,Alexandra Candler Trippe, of Pasadena, Calif., Gabrielle WoodlingTrippe, of New York, N.Y., and William Micah Trippe, of New York,N.Y.

Memorial services will be held on June 3, 2005, at 3 p.m. at ElToro Baptist Church in Mission Viejo, Calif.

The family requests that memorials be given to the ParaguayBaptist Medical Center Foundation, 4101 West Green Oaks Blvd.,Suite 305 No. 175, Arlington, TX 76016.

Debbie Deal Rice

Services for Debbie Deal Rice, of Brookhaven, are 4 p.m. Friday,June 3 at Faith Presbyterian Church with burial in RiverwoodMemorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service.

Mrs. Rice, 48, died June 1, 2005, at her residence. She was bornin Blytheville, Ark., on July 23, 1956, to Roy Deal and Edna JonesDeal.

She was a former teacher in the Brookhaven Public School systemand at Brookhaven Academy. She was currently assisting her husbandwith the family electrical business. She was a member of FaithPresbyterian Church. She will be remembered as a loving wife,mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.

Survivors are her parents, Roy and Edna Deal, of Baton Rouge,formerly of Brookhaven; her husband, Doyle Rice, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Ary Rice Mize, of Brookhaven, and Leah Rice, of Biloxi;her sister, Beverly Reed, of Baton Rouge; and her granddaughter,Arly Ann Mize, of Brookhaven.

B.C. White

Services for B.C. White, of Whitfield, are 11 a.m. Saturday,June 4 at Williams Mortuary Chapel with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. White, 75, died May 30, 2005, at the Mississippi StateHospital. He was born in Brookhaven on March 21, 1930, to CharlieWhite and Anna Haney White.

He was retired.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, BeatriceDriggs; and his brother Lee Edward White.

Survivors are his sisters, Margaret Dow and Velma Gayten, bothof Brookhaven, Anna Margie Bass, of San Jose, Calif., and RuthieMae Merchant, of Brookhaven; a devoted niece, Gail Williams, ofBrookhaven; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
