Services for Herbert J. “Joe” Hall of Monticello are 11 a.m.,Thursday, July 19, at Carmel Baptist Church with burial in New HopeBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5 p.m. until service time tomorrow atthe church. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hall, 69, died July 17, 2001, at his residence. He was bornin Monticello on July 20, 1931, to William and Hattie NealHall.

He was retired from Miles Lumber Company. He was a member ofPleasant Grove Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Billie FayeHall; and his son, Joseph Kyle Hall.

Survivors are his daughters, Becky Delaughter and PatriciaJohnson, both of Monticello; his brother, Ellis Hall of Brookhaven;his sisters, Florence McFall of Jonesville, La., Joyce Sanders ofBogalusa, La., and Ethel Hall of Saucier; and fivegrandchildren.
