MCCOMB – Kristin Merell fanned five batters and walked one tolead the McComb Lady Tigers to a 6-1 division win over theBrookhaven Lady Panthers Tuesday night in girls fastpitch softballaction. Ashley Sykes (3-4) was the losing hurler with threestrikeouts and four walks.

Allison Cascola tripled for the McComb girls. Jennifer Graves,Heather Sullivan and Elizabeth Holmes singled.

Brookhaven got a single from Megan Bateman, Brittany Smith,Allyson Wallace and Sykes.
