Services for James Benton Furlow of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Monday, Aug. 12, at Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 11, from 5-9 p.m. at BrookhavenFuneral Home and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Furlow, 59, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, at S. Baldwin MedicalCenter in Foley, Ala. He was born on Jan. 26, 1943, in CopiahCounty to the late James Brown Furlow and Mary Lou HamiltonFurlow.

He was a member of Heuck’s Retreat Baptist Church. He wasmanager of the Brookhaven Airport and owner of Antique Nook.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter, FarrahFurlow Watson.

Survivors are his wife Rebecca Furlow of Brookhaven, son Anthony”Pete” Furlow of Jackson; daughters Cappy Giachelli of Brandon andNatasha Givens of Natchez; step-son Chad Vaughn of Brookhaven;step-daughters Angie Jordan and Bethany Lewis, both of Brookhaven;brothers Stanley Furlow of Lafayette, La., Ray Furlow of Jacksonand Jimmy Furlow of Brookhaven; sisters Inez Danise of OceanSprings, and Loyce Mercier and Ann Grone, both of Brookhaven;mother-in-law Elizabeth Nettles of Brookhaven; and 11grandchildren.
