Services for Alberta Mullins Herring, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m.Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Springfield M. B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 1 to 8 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Herring, 85, died Feb. 8, 2006, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.She was born on Sept. 3, 1920, to Noah Mullins and CelestineMullins.

She was retired. She was a member of Springfield M. B.Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, EdHerring; her brothers, Willie D. Mullins and Joe Edmondson; and hergrandson, Tommy Marks.

Survivors are her daughter, Myrtis Crockett Marks, of Milwaukee,Wis.; her goddaughter, Mary Ferguson, of Bogue Chitto; and hersister, Geraldine Cameron, of Brookhaven.
