Services for Cynthia “Wee-Wee” Pernell-Humphrey, of Natchez, are1 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at St. Matthews Baptist Church in theGarden City community in Franklin County, with burial in KettleyCemetery on Garden City Road. Marshall Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome in Bude, and on Sunday at the church from 11 a.m. until thetime of the service.

Mrs. Pernell-Humphrey, 32, died March 11, 2007, at NatchezCommunity Hospital. She was born in Natchez on July 19, 1974, toJerry and Patricia Pernell.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Emile and LureniaBrown, and Elree and Ollie Pernell.

Survivors are her husband, Willie Humphrey, of Natchez; herparents, Jerry and Patricia Pernell, of Natchez; her children,K’vontruis Pernell, Shankia Pernell, Mikia Queen and JumorrisPernell, all of Natchez; her sisters, Katrina Pernell, of New York,Geraldine Bass, of Texas, Andrea and Audrea Pernell and WynekaPernell, of Natchez; her brothers, Jerry Pernell Jr. and JeromePernell, both of Natchez; four nieces, two nephews, and many aunts,uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles, and a host of other relativesand friends.
