Services for J. C. Freeman of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Wednesday,Dec. 18, at New Hope M. B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 6 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mr. Freeman, 85, died Dec. 15, 2002, at Beverly Health Care. Hewas born in Brookhaven on Sept. 7, 1917, to Phil Freeman and HettieFreeman.

He was retired from Southern Wholesale. He was a member of NewHope M. B. Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his sons, James “Bubba” Freeman of Brookhaven andKennedy Freeman of Hattiesburg; his daughter, Diane Young ofBrookhaven; and seven grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.
