Services for Roseann Pennington of Monticello were 2 p.m.,Sunday, Feb. 8, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church withburial in Easthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Pennington, 101, died Feb. 6, 2004, at Lawrence CountyNursing Home. She was born on Oct. 24, 1902, to Robert Wilson andCivila Givens Wilson.

She was a homemaker. She was the oldest member of Pleasant GroveUnited Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AlibyPennington; a daughter, Audrey Redd; two sons, Wilson Penningtonand Decell Pennington; two sisters; six brothers; and agranddaughter, Healther Smith.

Survivors are her son, A.J. Pennington of Monticello; herbrother, Bennett Wilson of Prentiss; 10 grandchildren; 16great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Ministries or Pleasant GroveUnited Methodist Church Building Fund.
