Micah Redd signs with Holmes

West Lincoln’s pitcher Micah Redd is taking her softball skills to the next level as she has signed a softball scholarship with the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs.

Redd, signed her official scholarship papers last week in the West Lincoln Library. Joining Micah for this joyous moment was her mom Camille, her dad/head softball coach Andrew Redd and West Lincoln assistant coach Greg Allen.

“I am extremely proud to be given the opportunity to play softball at the next level at Holmes,” said Micah.

Micah mentioned that she is undecided on what she wants to pursue a career in.

In her junior year for the Lady Bears, Micah batted .404 while accounting for 16 RBIs and four doubles.

“I am extremely proud for Micah to have the opportunity to play softball at next level,” said West Lincoln softball coach Andrew Redd.
