The Brookhaven tennis team was victorious Tuesday as they eliminated the Pascagoula Panthers 5-2 in the opening round of the state 5A playoffs at Brookhill.

Brookhaven will advance to the second round of the playoffs and will have to travel to play Stone County. Matches begin at 3 p.m.
