Warren receives Wendy’s Heisman finalist honors
Brookhaven Academy senior Madison Warren was selected as a state finalist in the Wendy’s High School Heisman program for Mississippi.
She was one of 10 girls selected across the state.
The program strives to inspire students through the talented men and women who apply to the program each year. These men and women never settle and are always striving to accomplish more, to improve themselves and others, to dig deeper and reach higher, according to a program press release.
They also embody the characteristics of the organization’s partner, the Heisman Trust: “Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.”
Through the Wendy’s High School Heisman Program, Wendy’s achieves this purpose, both by honoring the achievements of exceptional students and by providing a platform for continued growth and success.
This scholar athlete program elevates students by making it possible for them to take advantage of new opportunities, ensuring they are recognized for a job well done, and inspiring them to continue achieving their best, the release stated.
