DAILY LEADER / JUSTIN VICORY / Elaine Durr (from left) talks with U.S. Olympic gold medalist Jennie Finch during a meet-and-greet autograph session Saturday afternoon at the King’s Daughters Medical Center Performance Center. Finch was in town for the second annual KDMC All-Star Softball Camp and Skills Clinic earlier on Saturday.

Among those on hand to chat with Finch was Karlee Wallace (right), who got a special signature on her softball. Finch, who Time Magazine recently called the most historic figure in the sport of softball, was joined by area high school coaches in putting on the Saturday camp for softball players ages 10 and up. Finch has been on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice and has struck out not only some of softball best, but Major League Baseball's best, too, such as Barry Bonds, Mike Piazza, and Albert Pujols.
