STRINGER – The Bogue Chitto Lady Cats have punched their tickets to the big dance after knocking off the Stringer Lady Red Devils 6-3 Thursday afternoon in Game Three softball action for the South 1A State Championship.

In Game Two action last Tuesday, the Lady Cats were short changed as they were on their way to rallying in the top of the seventh inning. They had managed to trim the Lady Devils’ lead down to 11-7 and still had runners on with one out, but a rainstorm caused the contest to be postponed and, by ruling, Stringer won 11-3 since they led after six innings of action.

In Game One at BC, Monday, the Lady Cats won 6-5 over the Lady Devils.
