DAILY LEADER / JULIA PENDLEY / Col. Amos Parker speaks Monday at the Memorial Day ceremony in front of the Lincoln County/Brookhaven Government Complex. The ceremony also included a speech by Sgt. John Emory, a reading of the names of those who lost their lives while serving the U.S. and a laying of a wreath on the memorial. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Daniel D. Entrican Post 2618 Brookhaven hosted the ceremony.
