CO-LIN MEDIA / NATALIE DAVIS / Copiah-Lincoln Community College guard Ashley Minor has signed with the Mississippi College Lady Choctaws. Minor was second on the Lady Wolves in scoring averaging 12.5 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game average. The Natchez native led the team in assists by averaging 2.4 a game. Minor was named MACJC Player of the Week (Jan. 27-Feb. 1) when she averaged 21 points and 9.0 rebounds per game. She was also named MACJC Second Team All-State, NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament, and played in the MACJC All-Star Game. Minor was a member of Co-Lin’s 2013 MACJC State Championship team. The Lady Wolves, under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach Gwyn Young, finished the 2014 season with a 17-8 record.
