WESSON – Positive Pest Control captured the corporate championship in the 21th annual Copiah-Lincoln Community College Foundation Golf Classic at Wolf Hollow Golf Club. The team of Stan Winborne, Jeremy Winborne, Brett Rutland and Harley Matthews, shot a 51.

Capturing the Low Gross Championship was the team from Lowery, Payn & Leggett. The team of Craig Hennington, Alex Shoemake, Jerry Hood and Ricky McInnis fired a 54.

Taking the Low Net Championship was the team from PriorityOne Bank. The team of Brian Barnard, Ronny Cowser, Lance Anderson and Greg Paes shot a 54.7.

Other on-course prize winners were Alex Shoemake, Closest to pin, no. 14; Danny Altman, Closest to pin no. 11; Chad Barron, Closest to pin no. 8; Randy Allen, Closest to pin no. 4.

“We had a beautiful day for the tournament,” said David Campbell, executive director of the Co-Lin Foundation. “We want to thank everyone who participated and all the businesses that contributed to making it such a successful event.”

Thirty teams participated in this year’s event. The Co-Lin Foundation provides over $200,000 in scholarships to over 150 Co-Lin students and faculty.
