WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College men’s shutout the Hinds Community College Eagles 9-0 in recent tennis action.

The Wolves dominated all of the doubles matches as Dwain Perkins and Will Pennington defeated Aaron Gray and Austin Pevey 8-4 at No. 1, Braxton Hinton and Drake Nelson beat Melvin McNair and Jesse Stevens 8-1 at No. 2, and Brandon Nettles and Coleman Carraway blanked Peder Bethea and Jamarcus Burns 8-0 at No. 3.

In singles action, Perkins blanked Gray 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, Pennington defeated Pevey 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2, Hinton shutout Stevens 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, Nettles beat McNair 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4, Nelson beat Bethea 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5, Carraway defeated Burns 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 and Steve Del Cid beat Stevens 6-1, 6-3.

Co-Lin travels to Meridian on Thursday, April 2, beginning at 2 p.m.
