WESSON – For the second time in four weeks, Copiah-Lincoln kicker/punter Greg Nickles has been named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Special Teams Player of the Week. Nickles finished 3-for-4 on field goal attempts in No. 1 Co-Lin’s 29-26 overtime victory over rival Southwest.

The sophomore from East Rankin Academy split the goal post for a 36-yard field goal as time expired to tie the game at 23-all and send the game into overtime. Nickles also kicked field goals of 32 and 36 yards and was 3-for-3 on PAT kicks. He was named Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 1 against Itawamba and will be nominated for NJCAA National Player of the Week honors.
