The Brookhaven Lady Panthers put together a small hitting clinic to capture an easy 15-0 win over the Forest Hill Lady Patriots Thursday in Region 3-5A slowpitch softball action at the Ole Brook softball complex.

“The girls hit the ball much better tonight and they played a good game defensively,” said BHS coach Mandy Vinson. “Overall, I was very pleased with our effort.”

The Lady Panthers (12-5, 5-0) will host their annual Ole Brook softball tournament Saturday as they play Franklin County at 9 a.m., Warren Central at 1 p.m. and Bogue Chitto at 6:20 p.m.

Brookhaven 15, Forest Hill 0 

Brookhaven came out strong and quickly dominated the Lady Patriots in three innings of work.

Rileigh Allen (1K, 2BB) and Cheyenne Motley (1K, 0BB) combined to pitch a no hitter against Forest Hill. Allen was the winning pitcher for the Lady Panthers.

Nikala Wallace was the losing pitcher for the Lady Patriots with no strikeouts and three walks.

Fallon Brooks powered the Lady Panthers’ hitting clinic with a two-run home run and a single. Madi Miller, Sharquita Cook and Jadeyn Fuller contributed a double each. Hitting safely were Katherine Shell, Macy Ziskin, Madison Thompson and Cheyenne Motley
