Williams sign with UAB

Co-Lin Media / Natalie Davis / Copiah-Lincoln Community College linebacker Zach Williams of Lena (seated right) has signed with the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers. Williams (6-2, 240), who prepped at Leake County High School, accounted for 36 tackles this season, 2 sacks, 7 tackles for loss and 1 interception. He was named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 1 First Team this season and MACJC Second Team All-State his freshman year.
