Co-Lin’s Crum named MACJC Player of the Week

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College catcher Jessica Crum was selected Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College’s (MACJC) Player of the Week.
The sophomore from Prairieville, Louisiana went 12-for-13 (.923) from the plate and hit two homeruns in the Lady Wolves four wins last week. She drove in 11 RBIs and came across the plate five times.
Currently, Crum leads the nation in homeruns with 18. She has a slugging percentage of 1.278 and in walks with 34. The Alcorn State signee is in the top 10 nationally in total bases (124), RBIs (53), batting average (.619), and on base percentage (.720). The Lady Wolves are currently 28-8 on the season and are in fourth place in the MACJC rankings.
