The Brookhaven Academy Cougar tennis team captured the District and South State 4AAA runner up trophies in two consecutive weeks of postseason tournament play at Jones Community College.

Dylan Winborne and Gray Anding took home the individual south state championship trophy for boys No. 1 doubles. While Rodger Rushing and Zach Carr took home individual runner up trophy in a boys No. 2 doubles. They will be competing in the MAIS State AAA tennis tournament in Jackson at Ridgeland Tennis Center on Wednesday.
