After a bad outing Tuesday night, the McComb Nationals rallied back to win two straight games Wednesday night to take the District Six Major 11-year-old league championship in Dixie Youth Baseball Tournament action at Keystone Park.

The Nationals fought off elimination in game two by beating the McComb Americans 6-5 to force a decisive game three contest.

In game three action, the Nationals were on fire as they hammered the Americans 11-1 to win the tournament and advance to the state tournament games, which will be held at Magee, starting July 11.
