ANYONE READY FOR SOME SOFTBALL –– The Brookhaven High School softball team, (shown above with their coaches, after one of their summer night games) will be hosting the “First Annual Lady Panthers Area Alumni Tournament” to be held July 26 at the Hansel King Sportsplex. Ten teams are already signed up: Brookhaven High School (2), Franklin County (2), Brookhaven Academy, Loyd Star, Bogue Chitto, Wesson, Lawrence County and West Lincoln. Deadline to enter a team is Friday, July 18. For more information or to register a team, call 601-835-1792.
