W. Lincoln second at Duncan Park

NATCHEZ – The West Lincoln boys placed second in the Natchez Cathedral cross-country meet at Duncan Park, Tuesday. The Natchez Cathedral boys finished in first place.

The Bears were paced by Jason Watts who posted a time of 17:22 in the 5K run, which was a new course record.

Jordan Montgomery followed Watts with a time of 19:54. Other West Lincoln leaders were Adam Martinez, 20:30, Jonathan Mathis, 21:20 and Todd Calcote at 21:55.

The Lady Bears finished strong in their 5K run as Lillianne Rushing posted a time of 24:40.

Other Lady Bears leaders were Lexis Leggett, 25:06, Gracee Warren 30:16, Carlie Smith, 30:49 and Cameron Temple at 32:17.
