WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln head football coach Glenn Davis has been named 2014 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Coach of the Year. Davis led the Wolves to an 8-3 record, South Division championship, and an appearance in the MACJC championship game in 2014.

Davis has a career record of 61-42 in 11 seasons at Co-Lin. He has led his team to three division championships (2006, 2010, 2014), four appearances in the MACJC state championship game (2006, 2010, 2012, 2014), two bowl games (2006 Golden Isle Bowl, 2012 Mississippi Bowl), and one state championship (2012). Co-Lin has posted a winning record in the last six consecutive seasons.

The Wolves finished No. 11 in the final NJCAA poll and climbed as high as No. 3 during the 2014 season. Perhaps the greatest achievement by Davis is the plethora of former Wolves that continue their careers after Co-Lin. In 2014 there were 30 former Wolves playing college football on all levels of the sport across the country. On the first day of the 2014 mid-year transfer signing period the Wolves had 22 players ink scholarships with their new schools.
