Brookhaven Academy head baseball coach Casey Edwards, of Meadville, captured his 100th career varsity win Monday night with a 9-3 victory over Ben’s Ford (LA) at Harold Williams Ballpark in Brookhaven.

“Monday night was a special night,” said Edwards. “Winning my 100 game as head coach is a great milestone for me, but a small moment in the big scheme of things.

“My main objectives is to teach these players how to be successful Christian leaders and good fathers for the future,” continued Edwards. “If winning accompanies those things then even better. I love each and every one of my players who have helped us win these games. They have all played a role (in my 100 wins) and I can’t even put into words how special they are to me.”
