Enterprise (3-0),  coached by Brooks Burns, is riding a three-game winning streak after clobbering the Mount Olive Pirates 48-6 last week.

This week, the Jackets return home to host the Clarkdale Bulldogs at Harry Cole Field.

Justin Goodwin was Clarkdale’s offensive leader last week. He rushed for 165 yards on 12 carries. Quarterback Heath Harris led the aerial attack by completing 3-of-6 passes for 83 yards. Jerome Adkins was the top receiver with three catches for 62 yards.

Defensively, Cade Davidson led the Bulldogs with nine tackles. Dilan Williams, Saige Thomas and Dylan Reeves contributed five stops each.

Enterprise’s top offensive performer last week against Mount Olive was Marvin Butler with 12 carries for 136 rushing yards. Tanner Waldrop was the second leading rusher with five carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns and had 65-yard interception return for a touchdown. Dewayne Pendleton helped the rushing attack with five carries for 78 yards.

Defensively, Devin Kirtfield led the team with eight tackles. Austin Boyte, Drake Allen and Brant White provided four tackles each.

My prediction:  Enterprise will have to slow down the Bulldogs’ rushing attack to squeeze out a 24-23 win.
