The Brookhaven Academy Lady Cougars dropped a tough 5-4 decision to the Amite School Center Lady Rebels on Senior Night Tuesday in MAIS softball action.

“What an amazing year with a talented group of seniors,” said BA coach Becky Flowers. “Things don’t always happen the way we plan and this season has been tough. Changing classifications, new schools joining MAIS, and a very tough district schedule has made for a very challenging year. But overall we competed in every game we played and for that I’m pleased.”
