Brookhaven High alum Trace Clopton and the University of Southern Miss Golden Eagles will get the college football season started Thursday night in Hattiesburg with a matchup against the University of South Alabama. A junior center, Clopton and fellow Ole Brook alum Coker Wright are both key pieces on the USM offensive line. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. from M.M. Roberts Stadium and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
