House Fire

THE DAILY LEADER / JUSTIN VICORY / A fire damaged much of a house on 337 West Congress St. Tuesday afternoon. All three Brookhaven fire departments responded to the blaze, which firefighters put out in quick order, according to Brookhaven Fire Chief Tony Weeks. While the cause of the blaze could not be confirmed Tuesday night, Weeks said the fire started in the back bedroom on the east side of the house. No one was injured in the blaze.
