The Loyd Star netters knocked off the Franklin County Bulldogs 5-2 in tennis action at the Brookhaven City Courts Tuesday.

The Loyd Star junior varsity team will be in action today as they take on the Brookhaven Panthers junior varsity at 3:45 p.m. on the City Courts.

The Hornets varsity team returns to action Saturday as they participate in the Lincoln County Tennis Tournament at Brookhill Tennis Courts, starting at 9 a.m.

In JV action, Girls Doubles: Lani Smith-Anna Thomas (LS) won 8-3.  Boys singles:  Jacob Piazza lost 4-8.
